La Serena Cliff – La Peña River – La Romera Village
This is a nice route to visit La Serena Cliff, in Peñiagua Sierra.
First, in Morón, we will hike in a interesting limestone mountain, the track is easy and takes about 3km. This mountain is the home of Griffon Vultures, mountain goats, Eagle Owls, Peregrine Falcons, Egyptian Vultures, Tawny Owls, etc… Its north face is rich in plants and we will find here a lots of very interesting species.
We will visit La Peña River, it is a very important tributary of Corbones River, which ends very near from here, in the reservoir of Puebla de Cazalla.
Finally, we will visit La Romera, an old village surrounded by nature where ancient traditions are still alive.
